Application Process
The BSBA degree has lower (Freshman and Sophomore)
division and upper (Junior and Senior) division
course requirements. Lower division courses are open to
all students who have satisfi ed the proper prerequisites. Upper division courses may be taken by students who
have met the requirements for formal acceptance to the
BSBA.
Effective for degree-seeking students entering
the University Fall Semester 2003 and after, general
education/liberal learning curriculum, major, minor,and concentration requirements for graduation must
be completed according to the University Catalog in
effect at the time of admission to the university. Students
majoring in other programs may take up to 9 credit hours
of upper division business courses so long as they have
satisfied course prerequisites.
Students who apply for formal acceptance to the BSBA
degree must have:
- a minimum cumulative grade point average of
3.0, and
- a minimum grade point average of 2.5 in the prebusiness
and lower division core courses.
Students with
special circumstances or those seeking a minor in business in place of the
major may petition the School of Business by accessing the BSBA
Exception Form.
